Valco Thrust was a planet molded by volcanic activity, though it is covered in 70 percent water. The planet’s orange color comes from constant eruptions, the molten lava that flows through deep canyons on the surface. When the lava meets water, explosions occur. This happens several times a day, and the sound of these explosions echo throughout the land. The planet is made up of hundreds of small islands and inhabitants must find ways to travel between them. Plants live short lives on Volco Thrust, though they thrive when they are alive. When plants die, they fall into the water and form intricate coral reefs, living second lives. The water is not swimmable, as it is far too hot.
Humans that feel most at home on Volco Thrust, like the planet, are intense and flammable. They erupt easily and express their emotions and sexuality passionately. The inhabitants are ruled by their emotions and tend to experience intense mood swings. They are drawn toward creativity and sensuality.
